This spring quarter, Jordan and Clayton enjoyed playing basketball after school a couple days a week with Coach Etzwiler and the elementary BRUINS team.
They traveled to Ninilchik and Nikolaevsk to play competitive 3 vs. 3 and 5 vs. 5 games, then hosted those same teams in Homer's Boys & Girls Club gym.
The boys loved the game time and have further improved their skills this year... thanks, Coaches!

Science Fair
Tuesday, April 24, Max and Jordan presented their Science Fair project at school, "Tornado in a Bottle" for a second place ribbon! Their hands-on experiment with hypothesis, data charts, and photos was both fun and rewarding.

Trailblazers BIKE
Wednesday, April 18, my 5-6 grade Trailblazer Pioneer Club kids rode their bikes from the church to the Spit for a quick cookout to earn "Cycling" and "Outdoor Cooking" badges!
Much thanks to our fearless leader, Josh Elmaleh, who brought his flares to light a "Real" fire. :)

S'mores and hot dogs - on top of the world!
A gorgeous evening for an 8 mile round trip... Way to Go - Jordan Beachy, Koby Etzwiler, Eva Flory, Rachel Seneff, and Ian Taylor! Happy Easter
What a bummer to have the 5-day fever over Easter this year, Clayton, then Jordan, then Sheldon. :( We enjoyed a quiet family day after a yummy church breakfast and Celebration Service. "He is RISEN!"
I love it that my big boys still enjoy coloring eggs and hunting them in the snowbank after I hide them!
RIDE
Saturday, March 31, we finally took a day to go riding as a family -
lots of beautiful snow out in the hills! Dad gets
the small and slow machine now so Jordan can jump?!
Brandon's turn - Sheldon and I just love to watch...
and throw snowballs at them coming over the ridge!
Clayton rides over the edge...
Jordan carves...
Lovin' Alaska's wide open and breathtaking playground!

!Listos Para la Escuela!
So fun to receive "Back to School" photos of our kids in Lima! This is Nicole's first year in the private school; our sponsorship increased only $30/mo. for her education.
Brother Derek is sponsored by another - don't they look sharp in their uniforms!? We are so proud of YOU both! Love and hugs! XOXOX
