Monday night, October 26, the Homer Middle School Choir and Bands performed at the High School Mariner Theater for a packed out audience of family and friends! Mark Robinson directed the choir in four impressive pieces with varied harmonies and languages. Then Amy Christiansen led the 7th grade band and then the 8th grade band in three numbers each.
A percussionist, as is his director, Brandon stood in the back row, his head to the right of the tuba. He played the xylophone on the first piece, switched to the bass drum for the second piece, and ended with a challenging march on the snare drum for the final piece. He counted out loud for his partner! :) He was nervous, but what a great experience and performance. Way to go!
