Saturday evening, August 27, Chris and Krista Etzwiler invited us to join them for a special dinner out in Halibut Cove. Strictly a seasonal venue, the Saltry restaurant advertized its final summer "Luau" spread with BBQ ribs, seafood, fresh purple potatoes, fruit salad, and sweet coconut treats. We have only before just watched the comings and goings from "our" little cabin across the cove. Let's go!
We enjoyed a lovely, casual evening of outdoor buffet dining on the deck (under the rain tarps this summer) with a live band, nearby firepit, and a beautiful appearance from the sunshine!
Fun to be a part of the evening flavors and festivities and to walk along the boardwalks. :)Thanks to our grandparents for keeping all the boys happy at home!
