Jordan got to move up to the Unlimited... big boys' team this year.  #29.
He enjoyed playing running back, and maneuvered for a couple touchdowns through the season!
Sunday, August 18, we traveled to Soldotna to play the Steelers...
our closest matches.
Clayton played on the Pee Wee team again this year.  #28.
He and Aiden Arno are only a couple weeks apart, so it's been fun to reconnect with him.  Clayton also plays running back and safety.
He's easier to find when he wears long blue sleeves!
His Dad cheers for him to make more tackles on defense.
Sunday, September 8, we traveled to Anchorage to play
the Jags and the Panthers.  Here Jordan runs the ball for a play.
And right in the middle, he finds someone to block... those are BIG boys!
Clayton enjoys chasing the ball down!
Many games are scheduled at schools with beautiful turf fields and
a track where Mama can walk 3 miles during 2 football games.

2013 UNLIMITED RAIDERS
Unfortunately, Jordan got tackled in the second running play of his home game last weekend. Chocolate Thunder, 290 lb. from Anchorage landed on him and fractured his humerus near the shoulder. :(  It swelled up... he felt like a body builder, but couldn't move his arm!
So, he's in a sling for 2 wks. with ice, ibuprofen, and some exercises to increase his range of motion.  Shucks!!  No P.E. or X-Country... Just after he'd finished 1st in his last race and was gearing up for Boroughs!
