What fun to see Kirsten Swanson dance in the annual Nutcracker ballet performance Sunday afternoon; a veteran now, she stars in many of the beautiful dances and made the front page of the newspaper. What a special treat to have Grandma and Grandpa Swanson here for this year's performance! Each year, one of my boys gets a turn to attend the 2 1/2 hr. show; it was Clayton's turn this season, his first. He was full of anticipation and questions, and especially thrilled with the dances featuring King Rat and Nutcracker, and his kindergartnen buddy Emmet as a little mouse and later a black lamb. :)
