Jordan's Orthodontics

Jordan got to skip school again Thursday this week to return to Dr. Priebe's office in Soldotna to have his hardware installed. He now has a metal arch across the roof of his mouth attached to the two back molars that we rotate a turn wider every night. The initial excitement of this procedure has hit reality, and it HURTS! Jordan has a lot of saliva and trouble chewing and swallowing; he's on a liquid/soft diet until he figures out how to deal with the foreign matter in his mouth. Hopefully the subconscious figures it out sooner than later, because jello for breakfast, lunch and dinner is only fun for so long!

Nice metal, man. I'm jealous. Actually not really, but you still sounded excited saturday about getting to eat jello for breakfast. Ice cream sounds like a good option too.

Just keep persevering, the end result is well worth it. Once you get used to the braces it is not so bad. The end result is great teeth, great smile and more self confidence. The orthodontist will perform miracles with your teeth.
