Thursday, May 7, the kids put on the school's spring concert under the direction of Mrs. Lenore Swanson. They all sang the Alaska State Flag song to open the show, then each class performed a fun variety of songs and dances. Clayton's Kindergarten class of 24 did a traditional Celtic dance with do-si-do and promenade your partner!
Jordan's 3rd Grade class danced a Sicilian Circle Dance.
And Brandon's 6th Grade class composed an original rap "Pie or PI" - very groovy!
The show concluded with the whole gang doing the electric slide - way too fun! The atmosphere of "Celebrate" shined through as the McNeil dragons celebrate their 25th birthday Friday with hundreds invited to a picnic lunch, dragon cake, photograph/art displays and games!
