Crabbing in Kachemak Bay

Tuesday night, July 28, the rain clouds parted once again, and Sheldon announced it was time to go check the crab pots! So at 7 p.m. after dinner we headed for the boat and sailed off in pursuit of some critters.
We found the bouy according to the coordinates...
... and pulled 450 ft. of line to find the treasure at the bottom...
11 "keepers" in 2 pots. Alaska Snow Crab... Tanners.

A good day at sea.
