Family Camp

What a great weekend of fellowship with our church family! Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, we all camped out at the Yager's property on the Anchor River. We shared a yummy potluck meal before worship around the campfire led by Brenda and Lee Flory.
Jerry Uhlig shared a message from Romans 8 on Freedom from Fear through our Adoption as God's Children.
Fun to catch up around the campfire and roast s'mores, of course!
Ellirene and Warren did an awesome job planning and organizing the weekend!!
It rained all night as we slept in our tents, but only spittered through the day Saturday. We had an 8 a.m. prayer walk along the river focused on the Lord's Prayer with Pastor David.
And then an amazing breakfast cooked by Anita Parker on her mammoth griddle - bacon, eggs, potatoes, and PANCAKES!!
Target shooting and tie-dying are always the favorite activities of the weekend, along with more food and fellowship, of course! "We always thank God... because of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love you have for the saints..." Colossians 1:3-4
