Campin' and Fishin'

The last weekend before school, Aug. 21-23, we had to get one more camping and fishing trip out to the Anchor River!Early Saturday morning fishing for silvers didn't produce much, so we drove back to the North Fork of the river to go dolly fishing Saturday afternoon.
What a beautiful day with sunshine and shiny little fish!
The dog even enjoyed the rest and relaxation.
Chris and Krista Etzwiler and their boys joined us for the overnight fun Saturday night and parked their camper in the next site over. The boys mastered the art of Pudgy Pies... 2 pieces of bread with apple or blueberry pie filling squished in between. Sheldon liked the s'more version with marshmallow and chocolate inside. :)Sunday morning was a bit wet... no early risers to fish, but the boys biked around the loop and over the speed bumps! And then were challenged to ride up to the bridge with their poles to find some more fish.
Koby caught a silver!Jordan caught a pink (humpy)... thank goodness we don't keep those. What a fun weekend together!
