We're so proud of our Brandon - he made the "A Team" in basketball at the Middle School this year!! Coach told him it helped that he was a bit faster than his Dad. :) The Homer Huskies had their first games this weekend at home against Kenai on Friday night Nov. 5, and Teeland (near Wasilla) Saturday morning Nov. 6.

We thought Brandon was pretty big until we saw #40 with the other boys, mostly 8th graders - YIKES! He's just a little squirt! Homer is a smaller school than most in the league, too, so these other teams beat them pretty easily, but it's fun to see them learning to play together.

Where's Brandon? Usually the little guy in the middle. :)

Tough "D!"

Freethrows... he made one out of two, plus a field goal for three points in Saturday's game! Brandon played just a few minutes the first half on Friday, but got quite a bit more playing time on Saturday. He loves the challenge and is sure to grow this season!
