Tuesday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m., we attended our elementary school concert under the direction of Lenore Swanson. Since she was hired as a full-time teacher this year instead of part-time volunteer, we are fortunate to have a real band again! Jordan played his Dad's trumpet in a heart-warming rendition of Jingle Bells. :)
The theme "Christmas Around the World" gave us a feel for the cultural diversity of the season. Clayton's 1st Grade class sang a Swedish number... he's in the back row, third from the top.
Jordan's 4th Grade joined the 5th Grade in an African piece. He shook the rattle to the beat, wearing the white shirt in the front row.
