We had our kids' program at church Sunday, August 15, where they shared some songs and verses they'd learned in our summer VBS material "The Egypt Files." They had motions for just about everything, "Diggin' in the Word of God!" and such fun to play along with them on the electronic keyboard with Brandon on the drumset on stage for the first time!
Jordan shared some lines about "
SMYLE... God loves you!"
S - sin,
MY- my sin "it's all about me" separates me from God,
L - love of God demonstrated in Jesus' death on the cross restores that relationship, and
E- the hope of eternal life with Him!
This is the rewarding aspect of Children's Ministry... to see them all proclaiming the love of Jesus and the truth of His Word! Many thanks to Ellirene Miller, my friend and co-leader in training this next generation. Love you!
