This quarter Brandon's science class with Mrs. Booz has a bridge building project in which they each designed and built a structure spanning 1 1/2" wide, 2" high, and 6" between base points, weighing no more than 40 oz... all using a box of toothpicks and a lot of glue! Design and durability are both factors - the weight test is Tuesday, March 8, for the quarter grade. Will it near the 200+ lb. weight retention record of a former girl student, Mr. Engineer???
