Anaya Homer Home

Sheldon's Beachy Construction project, 17,000 sq. ft. home on Kachemak Drive for Gene and Andrea Anaya of Salt Lake City has become even bigger with the sudden death of their project manager and friend to all of us, Rob Lamb.  His wife Kristen, the designer, has invited all of the family up to Homer to celebrate Rob's birthday next June 15 by staying in this home for a reunion.  We're motivated to finish!

The scaffolds and forklifts have been busy with siding and rock installation, posts and beams, shakes and shingles.  The exterior is pretty beautiful and buttoned up for the coming Alaska winter.
Ken works on the installation of a big fireplace through the existing Timberframe on the old house.
The old beams have been sanded and restored in the new kitchen area.
The octagonal Zen room has floor to ceiling windows & cool beams.
The plumbing and electrical systems are all roughed in.
The pool and Turkish bath "hot tub" are awaiting specialized labor.
The theater upstairs is wired for sound, insulated and ready for sheetrock.
There are 55,000 square feet of sheetrock figured altogether!
This is the great room.
Hallway with rounded ceiling and art gallery to the bedrooms.
Timberframe beams stand out in the office off the master suite.
The third story "Neverland" from Peter Pan is taking shape with curves, bunks, and paint for murals!

Outside deck off the kitchen and dining room.  There will be a pizza oven out here!
A beautiful legacy of Rob's vision and dream for the Anayas.
