9:00 p.m. Sunday night, April 21, Brandon's weeks of shopping with his Dad on Craig's List for his first truck all paid off when Uncle Ken drove into the yard with HIS OWN little 2001 Nissan Frontier 4x4!
Brandon had narrowed his list of prospects down to a couple for Ken to test drive on his trip through Anchorage, so he texted during his marimba practice, "Did he like one of the trucks?" His Dad replied, "No, the Nissan was pretty trashed. We'll keep looking." "Oh... That's OK." All the while, Ken was at the bank getting $6500 to seal the deal. :)
Title, registration, insurance, and fuel are all part of the vocabulary, and a scheduled appointment at the DMV is on the list of things to do. He enjoys taking Mom for evening drives and practice in shifting a manual with smooth transitions... Counting down to Sweet 16, May 11! XOXOX
