The Kevin Kleins visit ALASKA!

 
18 years after my twin brother helped build our first house in Homer, he returned with his entire family this June to experience Alaska!  
Kevin and Karen, Korie, Kurtis, Kailee.
 Tuesday, June 11, we took a tour of homes.
 The Pool room and Neverland - highlights on Kachemak Drive!
Sheldon took us out trolling before dinner at the Cove.
 Kurtis reeled a couple kings in!
 Yummy "Surf and Turf" clams and steaks on the grill at the cabin.
Wednesday, June 11, back to the boat for a halibut trip with Willie!
A whole week of GORGEOUS sunshine!
They found some COLD fog and some NICE fish!

Limited out!
 Thursday, June 13, the kids were ready to stick closer to home.  
Time to hike the bluff!
 
Watermelon refresher before our pre-Father's Day BBQ. :)

 Checking out the tourist and charter shops.
 
 Saturday tour of the Islands and Oceans Visitor Center...
 ... and quick trip down to Bishop's Beach in the cold wind!
 Saturday night highlight... 4-WHEELIN'!!
 Ken Farnen took us out the North Fork... pretty dusty ride!
 
 But we found some mud on the way to the LookOut. :)


Karen spotted the first of 2 moose who made an appearance.
TOO COOL.
 Korie braved the rugged experience with her Auntie!
 Sunday afternoon, the trail led east to the marimba studio.
 After the concert, we cooked burgers out at the Miller Ranch.
 More 4-Wheelin'..
 Garden tours...
 ... and jump rope!  Lovely friends. :)
 
 More sunshine Monday, June 17 to hike the Diamond Creek trail.
 Feeling the power of the ocean waves!
