Performing Arts

Brandon's marimba band Williwaw participated in the annual fundraising event for Homer Council on the Arts, MARIMBA MADNESS.
What a great evening of food, auctions, guest African drummer,
and lots of dancing to four local marimba bands at the Homer Elks Lodge
Saturday, March 1.  They always save the best for last!
Tuesday, March 4 was the MUSIC IN THE SCHOOLS concert at the Homer High School Mariner Theater.  All Homer school bands and guest community members performed several pieces individually and corporately... great to have all three boys in the same show!!
Brandon, Patrick, and Robert provided cool jazz background prelude and interlude melodies.  Brandon was a guest percussionist on the snare drum with the McNeil Canyon Elementary band beside his brother Clayton playing the bells in the back row!  My friend Lenore is the band instructor at McNeil, playing first chair flute.  Mrs. Amy Johnson also visits weekly and is the director for both the Middle School and High School bands.
Jordan played the French Horn with the Homer Middle School band, second from right in second row.
Brandon played the snare drum with the Homer High School band.
And then they all shared the stage together!
 Simply marvelous!
