Spring Concerts

Monday, April 28, the Homer High School Symphonic Band performed four pieces with the theme of the evening, "Chiaroscuro: The Strong Contrast Between Light & Dark."  Brandon started on the bells for "Fanfare," moved to the timpani drums for the four movement "In Memoriam" and "Come, Sweet Death" and then finished on the snare in the percussion section for a "March."  A beautiful evening of contrasts!
Tuesday, May 6, the Homer Middle School Concert Band performed four pieces before the choir, and Jordan played his French Horn masterfully in the row where we could see him!  The same director, Mrs. Johnson directed all three of our boys' bands!
Thursday, May 8, McNeil Canyon Elementary School band performed three selections "High Flying," "Sakura," and "Down by the Station" before the entertaining musical "BUGZ."
Clayton had a part dancing around the Maypole!
The 5th Grade boys sang "Take Me out to the Picnic" before they played catch across the room. :)
Grand Finale with the whole school, "Goin' on a Picnic!"  FUN!
