5th Grade Glacier Hike

May 13, 2014, Bill's 5th grade class made their annual trek to Grewink Glacier, and another beautiful day!  The trip started with a water taxi ride across Kachemak Bay to Glacier Spit.

 The hike commenced through the woods for a mile...

... and broke out in the glacial terrain for another 2 miles.

Always more energy to climb the high rocks!
