As the president of Homer Little League, Opening Day on a sunny May 17 Saturday at Karen Hornaday Park was a big highlight for me this summer after so many hours of meetings and planning and business sponsorships and player registrations! So AWESOME to see all the kids come out...185 in all - T-ball, softball, and baseball players ages 4-17 in the Minor, Major, and Senior divisions.
Clayton played his first year in the Major division this year, an 11 yr. old on the Reds team!
Stealing bases becomes a big part of the game...
... and crossing that plate for a run is the best feeling!
Clayton did a great job at Short Stop most of the season.
