Thanksgiving Reunion in HAWAII

ALOHA, OAHU!  Celebrating 20 years since we honeymooned in Maui, I suggested to Sheldon it might be time to return to the islands...  BUT I asked to bring our kids along AND to invite my folks and all my brothers and families to meet us there since this would be our trip for the year?!  Dream come true!
A direct flight from Anchorage to Honolulu on Thursday, November 20, we spent the first night and day at Marriott's Ko'olina Villa Beach Resort about 20 min. west of the city.  A luxurious treat from Jeff & Janelle's folks' award points... Gorgeous rooms, grounds, beaches, and pools!
Mom and Dad, Mary Kaye and Roger Klein were so happy to have all of us together. :)
These Alaskans were ready to soak up some sun!
That evening we headed to our Plantation Estate on the north side.
Refreshing swimming pool, bluff behind, and beach before.
We each had our own spaces, though Jordan and Brandon's room was a fun hang-out!
Grandma and Grandpa made a Costco run, and we enjoyed cooking our meals together in the kitchen (with the bugs!)
After breakfast we'd head to the beach or out to explore!
Friday, Nov. 21 we went for a hike and then to a little beach before lunch.
 Twin Kevin & Karen Klein
Sheldon & Kathy Beachy
 Jake & Alisha Klein
Jeff & Janelle Klein, new nephew Maxwell 5 mo.
Afternoon football on the front lawn!
Sunday, November 23, we went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay.

The boys had a blast with their flippers and go-pros!  Cool schools of fish, coral, and a big sea turtle. :)
Diamondhead Crater in the background.

Back to the house for dinner, stories, and games.
Monday, November 24, we spent a fantastic day all together at the Polynesian Cultural Center, a treat with Kevin & Karen's award points!
Jake entertained us all with a "Volunteers, please!?" Tongan routine.
 Tattoos and hula lessons.
 River Ride.

Wednesday, November 26, Field Trip day.
Spectacular views of Honolulu and the island.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Thursday, November 27, everyone flew home, but ours was the 10 pm. flight, so we swam and surfed at Waikiki Beach the last day.
