Annali asked us months ago what we might be doing the weekend of November 18, "I'd love you to come to my dance performance!" We just happened to be going to Anchorage for a flight to WA... the perfect night to see her dance first. Yay! She and Jordan were glad to connect after the first semester of long distance relationship.
We met the whole family at the downtown Christmas expo Saturday afternoon, went out for dinner at the Moose's Tooth, and then checked into our hotel before her dance. Definitely not the Nutcracker ballet, it was a fun performance of modern dance on a very small stage with intimate movement and interpretation. Annali did great! We went out for yummy frozen yogurt afterward to celebrate. :)
