Wednesday night was our second week of Pioneer Clubs at church this fall! My class of 3-4th grade Pathfinders (Jordan) joined Lenore's class of 5-6th grade Trailblazers (Brandon) on an adventure hike on the Homer spit to collect nature items for our project badges this month.
This was the one day it did not snow or rain this week, so we were blessed with a GORGEOUS sunset and then moonscape above the waves and mountains. The kids collected shells, pine cones, sticks, and feathers, and brought snacks and flashlights for the journey. I have only 5 students this year, and Lenore gets the group of 13... we had 18 kids and 2 other helpers altogether for a great adventure and tradition of three years now!
