Jordan got to skip school again Thursday this week to return to Dr. Priebe's office in Soldotna to have his hardware installed. He now has a metal arch across the roof of his mouth attached to the two back molars that we rotate a turn wider every night. The initial excitement of this procedure has hit reality, and it HURTS! Jordan has a lot of saliva and trouble chewing and swallowing; he's on a liquid/soft diet until he figures out how to deal with the foreign matter in his mouth. Hopefully the subconscious figures it out sooner than later, because jello for breakfast, lunch and dinner is only fun for so long!
