Clamming in Ninilchik

Saturday, July 25 was a -3 low tide, so the Etzwilers invited us to go clamming up the road. It was cool and overcast, with not a lot of people since there had been -5 low tides earlier in the week. But we found enough of the critters to fill our buckets halfway!

Jordan's new glasses came in Friday, so he could spot the dimples in the sand great this year. :)

Clayton and Ty found a little crab in a tide pool.

Brandon enjoyed trying Mr. Etzwiler's clam gun with some success.

It rained the last half hour of low tide, but what a fun day together!

And a picnic in the truck before the drive home. :)
