Minke Residence, East End

This summer, upon the sale of their home in California, John and Mary Minke signed a contract with BCI to build. Located 12 miles out East End Road, this is their 6,000 sq. ft. "retirement" home...

I took a few pictures one gray day at the end of August when Ken Farnen and Johnny and Michael Nelson were setting the trusses.

... and the fireweed was in full bloom!

We just stopped by last week again, September 10, to check out the progress on the roof, the siding, and the insulation. The front entry has a "scratch coat" ready to mount decorative rock.
