Friday, November 27, we drove in to Anchorage to play since it was raining on the mountain. I took the kids to swim for over 4 hours, which was twice as much fun as they anticipated the Christmas shopping being done for them simultaneously!! The boys had a grand time with Kayla along, for sure, and I even got wet myself! (Though I did take a break to write my Christmas letter. :)
They loved the wave pool, the waterfall, and the twisty body slide...
... but the favorite attraction by far was the Big Blue Chute. The kids ran up 50 steep stairs over and over and over and over again carrying this big dual tube for a ride through a pipeline that only got more fun as they closed their eyes and plugged their ears after they had memorized every bump and turn!

We all had wrinkly raisin fingers by the end of the day...
... before dinner and goodbyes to Grandma and Grandpa Beachy as they flew back to Florida for the winter. We miss you already!!! Looking forward to Spring Break...
