What fun to watch all our Little Leaguers play ball this summer! It's 4 nights a week at the ballfield for 6 weeks, but it makes us smile. :)
Clayton moved up to the "Coach Pitch" level this year, playing for the Cubs. He is watching the ball and swinging the bat, practicing playing all the different defensive positions, getting 3 outs, and running the bases on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Cool!
Jordan is in the Minors league again this season, playing for the Royals. He has enjoyed the challenge of pitching the ball OVER THE PLATE... 2 innings
mostly consistently for his team on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and hitting the ball other than to first base.
And Brandon is in the Majors league playing for the Giants again this summer. He, too, pitches the ball hard and has a lot more fun when they're strikes! He's had a building year with a lot of younger players moved up, but was elected to the All Stars team and is looking forward to that tournament in Kenai the middle of July.
Mom likes to keep track of the score and pitch count at their games - it helps me pay attention! PLAY BALL! :)
