Phew, LORD, what have we gotton ourselves into?? Sheldon has been overwhelmed with the magnitude of a commercial project this summer in Nelson Lagoon out on the Aleutian Islands. Beachy Construction was awarded the bid for this job in April, and we have one year to complete the fish processing facility, but the goal is really to be finished by this fall before the weather shuts things down. The steel building is pretty straightforward, but the approvals and ordering and shipping of EVERYTHING from gravel and concrete to trucks and bolts has been an amazing process and financial commitment!
These are the bags of concrete being loaded onto the barge at the Homer dock. What a blessed day to see that first shipment on its way at last! :) Everything was loaded like a puzzle, tightly fit together just right. Sheldon has learned so much professionally, and in his spiritual journey of trusting his heavenly Father. Thank you for all your prayers... it's a big job.
