On Wednesday, October 9, 2013, the Pathfinders (3-4th Grade) and Trailblazers (5-6th Grade) set out to earn our hiking badge at Mariner Park on the Homer Spit. There was such a COLD WIND, but these kids were troopers!
We used our compasses for some orienteering activities and then headed to the shelter of the big rocks to build a campfire for marshmallows. :)
