Florida Wedding & Sunshine

Saturday, December 14, niece Alecia Stafford married Tanner Stengel on Lido Beach, Sarasota, FL!  Sheldon and I flew down for the week to be of the big day and to spend time with his Grandparents.  Great Grandpa David (97 yrs.) opened Alecia's wedding in prayer.

The 4:30 pm. ceremony was gorgeous with the varied shades of teal dresses and shirts, reflecting the ocean.  White hydrangeas were accented by orange roses and daisies in the arch and bouquets.  John Murphy, Alecia and Tanner's mentor at YWAM Colorado where they met, performed the service.

 

 Cousin Reegan Johnson made the gorgeous cake for the reception held at Mote Marine Aquarium.

A fabulous outdoor dinner and dancing experience...

After the big day, we had the weekend to relax with the family.

I asked Sheldon if I could walk the golf course with him one morning.  So romantic... we had to re-create a pose from our college dating days. :)

 We had a lovely afternoon visit with Grandpa and Grandma at their home:

Gorgeous flowers, friendly birds, stories and prayers of blessing!

Great to spend time with Aimee, Willie, and Vernon Byrd, too. :)
