July 8, our first game vs. Abbott-O-Rabbit in Anchorage... big league now!

Clayton struck out the first time, but got a base hit later and a chance to pitch, too!  2-10 loss first day.

Always a highlight, batting practice at "The Cage" the next morning.

Dad and Jordan, Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Lisa and Emily, and Aunt Aimee all showed up for Wednesday's game in the rain vs. Polar. 

Clayton played left field for a few innings and had another base hit.

Our only victory, and enough to advance us to the District Finals the next week!  Losses to Anchorage West and Dimond West on Thursday and Friday did give the boys great game experience and opportunities to make plays.

So proud of our All-Star! Clayton loved watching the Little League World Series to the championship game.  Ahh, the combination of kids and baseball!  XOXOX
