Monday, May 11, HHS graduating seniors were invited to an Awards Program to receive certificates for scholarship awards. Brandon was honored to receive the UA Scholar Award for outstanding 4.0+ achievement, full tuition to the University of Alaska, and the Ken Fisher Memorial Scholarship for consistent Christian witness for $2,600, awarded by Pastor Pat McDonnell.
Each graduate then shared his plans, Brandon to attend Montana State University in Bozeman and pursue a major in Mechanical Engineering. He did receive the Western University Exchange award there, as well - $46,000 over 4 years. Way to go!
